We hire steady, disciplined people and hold them to a standard. Every Agent here is exceptional compared to the industry around them — and our Protectors are on another level again.

Every Agent must

• Pass the Army Combat Fitness TestA 60 or better in every event, scored against the most demanding age and gender bracket. No easier standard for anyone.
• Pass the aptitude assessmentA security-modified ASVAB, because judgment matters as much as fitness.
• Certify on every tool you carryOC spray, taser, handcuffs, flashlight, firearm, plus CPR, AED, and first aid. We train in house, so willingness counts more than prior certification.
• Hold the required Illinois credentialsPERC card, valid FOID, and a Firearm Control Card for armed posts. We will walk you through the process.

Reaching Protector

Protectors are our engaging tier, and the standard steps up across the board: a 70 or better in every ACFT event, a 70 or better in every category of the aptitude assessment, and certification in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, baton, tactical emergency casualty care, advanced shooting, advanced de-escalation, and advanced report writing. Agents earn the tier; it is not assigned.

Reaching Phalanx

Phalanx is our highest tier. It holds every Protector standard and adds what cannot be tested on a range: the emotional and cognitive intelligence that complex operations demand, and a refusal to let any detail slide. These Agents live the work as an ethos. Few reach it, and nobody is appointed to it.
